Two years ago, The Southland Music Line featured an article highlighting the music of Rambling Steve Gardner, Libby Rae Watson, Bill Steber, and Wes Lee. This talented group of acclaimed Blues and American Roots musicians are compositely known as The Jericho Road Show.
The 2014 Tour “Acoustic House Party & Traveling Road Show: Times Aint Like They Use To Be” criss-crossed the region, including stops at the famous Birdie’s Road House in Angie, LA and The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center of Arts in Ocean Springs, MS. In 2015, The Jericho Road Show returned to the road and The Line was once again enjoying their music.

Each member of the band has their own successful career in music. When these four musicians get together, something spectacular occurs.
As of Tues. March 1, Rambling Steve Gardner and The Jericho Road Show kicked off this year’s “Americana in Mississppi” tour at Duling Hall in Jackson, MS. This 16 city statewide tour of Mississippi, the birthplace of America’s music, will provide a glimpse into what makes this kind of music special – “Real Music, real stories, right now.”

Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant, who introduced the opening night show at Duling Hall, clearly pointed out “There is no better way to experience real Americana music than the Americana in Mississippi Music Tour. It all started here, in the birthplace, and we want people to know that you can still experience the real deal – whether it’s at a festival, an authentic juke joint or a music tour like this one. Music is part of Mississippi’s DNA, and we want to share that with the world.” *
